Well, the hottest topic currently is Mr. Tiger and his marital transgressions. Its the same topic everywhere. At work or with friends.

And I always am on his side. I mean, who's to judge who is wrong and who is right. I'm not saying that he is right to cheat on his wife. Some of his affairs started way before his marriage and lasted till last year.

But then again, isn't he just human? Did he ask to be role model or be the person millions looked up to? He just did what he needed to do for a living. We don't even know whether he liked doing it. Came across this post by Sheylara for Stomp's Star blog. Read it here.

The only thing about it that i dislike is that it is ... DAMN HUGE!!!!!



AND WHY WHY WHY WHY MUST THE COLORS OFFERED ONLY BE BLACK???!!!!! But i shouldnt complain about this, im lucky to have found an all black one. The more common color for the instax 200/210 is blue and black. Looks like a gigantic bruise.

Was thinking of getting the instax mini.... Just cos its so adorable ... and easy to carry around... but the picture size is really too small, i feel. Its just about the size of a credit card so u can't really do much with it.

Didn't have much time to plan my 21st when i got back from aus this year but still had a good one. Celebrated it a week earlier, combined with K, found a date between both our birthdays. Initially wanted to plan a themed party but had no time so this year's new year's must make up for that. Must.

On my real birthday,

Had dinner with my family at Shangrila's "The Line" buffet spread. Didn't take much pictures, was too busy eating.

Watching re-runs of american idol now (cos i was in perth when it aired) ... Adam Lambert is AAAmazing. SO MUCH TALENT, hands down THE most talented contestant ever on AI. Damnnnnn.

Hurt people hurt others. Loved people love others.

People want to get a reaction out of you, and when you react, you're bringing yourself down to their level. And they win, they NEED you to react to feel accomplished.

This line (during sermon) struck a chord in me.

I do think that it makes alot of sense. Sometimes, i wonder why i have nothing in me to retaliate against people who do bad or say bad things about me ... am i a pushover? Many people say i'm too nice.

After hearing that, i just realized. No, its not that i'm TOO nice. I know my limits. People don't make use of me or make me do things i don't want to do. It's never been that way.

Have people said bad things about me? Yes, of course. I take comments in my stride. You know, it doesn't affect me ALL that much. Of course a negative comment is not the most pleasant thing to hear but at the end of the day, just look at the person who made that comment and i think you can see why they're saying such things about you or any other person in general, really.

Hurt people hurt others. Loved people love others.

I know that if all my friends were to disappear, (which i hope they won't) my parents and family will still be there for me. Family is the one thing u can always count on. (At least mine) I love daddy & mummy and my lil brother (:

I don't have that anger or hatred or deep sense of bitterness in my heart to retaliate back. It's really just not worth my time. Kudos to you if u want to channel so much of your energy into someone who's been mean to you and give them attention.

If you let humans (a being similar to yourself) affect you, you're never going to be a bigger person. We all live in a very fickle world. One moment you're hot, the next you're not. One moment you're rich, the next you're poor. If your self-worth and esteem can be boosted or inflated just as easily, the foundation isn't very solid is it?

The sermon today also said one thing,

That man was MADE for connection with others

That no man is an island.

This is something that i personally feel is AGAINST my beliefs ... but hmm ... i don't know. Always open to different perspectives.

We'll see.
